As I mentored in the last thread, most Canadian libraries provide free access to the website of Consumer Reports. If you have a valid library card, go to your library's website and look at their online resources. There is a very good chance you'll be able to get free, legal access. +3. Reply.

You are able to sign up for a free 30 day trial of consumerreports.org. Please note: it takes an hour or so for your account to become fully active. I was able to login right away however could not access the actual reports for close to 60 minutes.
Frustrating! This has always been an issue with TransUnion. They bury the page for the free Consumer disclosure. I have an account and I can't find the free consumer disclosure online for the life of me. Very slimy as they have no problem leading me to pay $19.95.
Just happened to browse both Consumer Reports and Lemon Aid and noticed a big difference in their Toyota brand recommendation. The common Toyotas (Camry, Corolla, Matrix) are all recommended in CR. Lemon Aid lists these models as not recommended. Together with pages of safety defects. Lemon Aid seems well researched.
