report. 06/14/2016 03:56. Subject: Sizing for Zara kids clothes. quote. Anonymous. Depends on the item, but I'd say they're truer to size than many brands--with some running larger than others. My son is 5.5, skinny, and this summer wearing a 5 in Zara. At H&M, he can wear a 3-4 or 4-5 or a 4-6 depending on the item.

I have found some tops for my small 10 yo that she and I both like (it's hard shopping for this age!). I don't know normally buy from Zara kids so I'm not familiar with their sizing. They've got size 8, 9, and 10. She can still fit in size 8 in like Gap and Old Navy, but I get her 10 now for room to grow.

Young-ish, fashion-forward women in many other cities do wear them with some frequency - Birks are a bit more of a casual, West-coast style, but yes, they are definitely in/featured in all of the style blogs/mags/etc. Check ...

It looks like the usual clothing brands go from size 7/8 to 10/12. 7/8 is too small, 10/12 is huge. Why no 9? Where should I be lookin

  6. What age did your child wear 2T clothes? - DCUM Weblog

    www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/30/379751.page

My son is 80-90% in height and 60% in weight (or he was at 18 months). He is 23 months now and has been wearing 3T for a while. He also has a huge head so t-shirts often are really hard to put on him. Hips are smaller part of his body so some pants might be slightly loose. 2T clothes are just too small/shirt for him.

Introduce her to the idea of a capsule wardrobe - look at pants/bottoms of what she has, and then maybe even draw them and go shopping with that in mind - so she doesn't get fixed on sets, but more on creating sets with different pieces.

  10. Clothing question - running shorts with bike shorts/spandex...

    www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/1226341.page

I see a lot of the kids wearing running shorts, and she thinks they are too short. Would it be weird for her to wear those running shorts with spandex shorts underneath? That way they provide more coverage, but are trendy.
