When I want to import from Edward Jones, I must first log into my account either on my computer or on my iPad. After I do that, when TurboTax prompts me, I enter Ed ward Jones from the drop down box and my Consolidated Statement downloads into my Desktop software. I did it a week ago and it worked.
Tried everything to the point Edward Jones locked by account for too many tries to access it. Turbo Tax just refuses to accept my username & password. PERIOD. These are not "special characters" or "odd figures" I can and do long on just fine to the Edward Jones web pages. I have found NO help from Turbo Tax.
Go to your Online Edward Jones account. Log in and you will need to perform the 2 step Authentication again. Once you have gotten signed into your Edward Jones account, open Turbo Tax and attempt to import again with the Edward Jones access. Ours worked after doing this.

The partner has been verified. Edward Jones is included in your integrations and as Ive stated it worked on Feb 4 when I downloaded my daughters Edward Jones details. I also am nowhere close to the limits specified in the integration. Since I've already downloaded them once, I know they are ready and available per Edward Jones.
I was saying that I have no problem syncing my Edward Jones account with the Quicken 2020 software. So Edward Jones is allowing connections with other 3rd party applications. Edward Jones is just not allowing me to connect thru TurboTax and import the tax data from Edward Jones. Quicken will not help with getting the tax data to TurboTax.
You may need to check with Edward Jones to see if they are allowing third-party access. Although the following Help Article is for Schwab, it is possible that your brokerage has restricted TurboTax's access to your statements unless you grant consent, and you might need to do something similar to what is described here How can I fix my 1099 import issue?
