Parents or eligible students have the right to inspect and review the student's education records maintained by the school. Schools are not required to provide copies of records unless, for reasons such as great distance, it is impossible for parents or eligible students to review the records. Schools may charge a fee for copies.

Getting a StudentAid.gov Account. We encourage students and parents to get their StudentAid.gov account before filling out the FAFSA form. Anyone (student, the student's spouse, a biological or adoptive parent, or the parent's spouse) who's required to provide information on the FAFSA form needs a StudentAid.gov account before accessing and completing their section of the online form.
