Second, if you have an older Britax, make sure you flipped your LATCH connectors over to forward facing, and you're not exceeding either Britax's LATCH limit of 48 pounds, or your car's if it's lower.

Britax is 6 years from manufacture date on those seats so the 3/06 would be expired as of this month and the 1/07 would be expired january of next year. I would not continue to use a seat past expiration except in extreme emergency.

I can't seem to locate the expiration date for my 11/07 DOM Britax Companion. The DOM is stamped, but no expiration. DS has long since outgrown it and I want to know whether I should keep it for hypothetical baby #2 that may (or may not) be here for a LONG TIME from now :) Any ideas...

Well, I just spoke to Britax UK and they claim that there is no expiration date on their carseats - as long as they were manufactured under current ECER44 regulations. Frankly, the woman kind of sounded shocked that anyone would suggest that there was an expiration date on carseats. Which I found not terribly reassuring.
I have a 2006 Britax Parkway and I cannot find the manual anywhere. I looked online for it and it does not state how many years the seat is good for. Doe anyone know how long they are good for? I looked up the Britax Frontier manual and it specifies 9 years but not sure about this one. Thanks!
