Do not use "Synchrony Bank Credit Cards" for CareCredit, Lowe's, or JCPenney. Instead, add one of the accounts as named (I used "CareCredit"). They all use one website now and the same login. So when I did this, the option to add the other two came up with the pull-downs to "Add account" or "Link to existing".
Synchrony Bank Accounts not downloading properly. For several weeks I have not been able to download from Synchrony Bank- specifically CareCredit and Jerome’s Credit Cards. The online balance that Quicken shows is wildly wrong - like by over $1000. I have reset the account several time and then deleted and loaded it again and it’s not helping.
Best Answer. When creating a new account in Quicken, type "mysynchrony" as your Financial Institution. A list of accounts under "Other Results" populates the dialog box. I selected the first account -It doesn't matter which one you choose as you can rename it later.
I had the same problem and contacted Synchrony Bank. Synchrony Bank no longer supports Quicken. Synchrony cards are sometimes set up for downloads with Synchrony Bank Credit Cards but there are also many Synchrony credit cards that have their own separate Add Account listings. IMB. 09.13.19 1:30 PM. You can call customer service for the phone number of Synchrony Bank. If you don’t have your old HSN card number, or new Synchrony Bank number, they will use your SS# to get your account. I think you can make a payment over the phone. Hope this helps.
Mark Coil, thank you for the information. I've checked for emails from both Synchrony and Quicken and I don't have one about re-registering our savings accounts. I reached out to Synchrony Bank and they said that Synchrony is only partnered with Mint and Yodlee for 3rd party aggregators and that I would need to reach out to Quicken for assistance.
Please, follow the instructions below in order to do so. Open the Account List in Quicken (Tools > Account List OR Ctrl + A) If present, select the Show Hidden Accounts checkbox at the bottom of the Account List. Edit each account with this financial institution to Deactivate (or Remove From One Step Update) on the Online Services tab.
