Joined. Dec 30, 2016. Messages. 40. I stopped watching the outdoor channel months ago once I figured out 99 percent of their content is canned shoots and fair chase is non existent I remember one episode where they were "hunting" in South Texas and the deer they killed had a tag in its ear. I watched some more shows and all I could see was more ...
The Outdoor Channel has received a considerable number of e-mails in which we are accused of "supporting" George Taulman (and USO) or being an actual business partner of his. To be clear, The Outdoor Channel DOES NOT "support" George Taulman or his company nor do we condone his actions. We are not now nor have we ever been a business partner of ...
While I was at the NRA annual meeting this weekend (met Randy, he is super nice too) I stumbled into the Outdoor Channel/Sportsman channel booth. We don't have cable or satellite TV at our house because we stream all of our TV so you can imagine how happy I was when they tell me about their new...
ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) — The host of an Outdoor Channel adventure show has been charged with illegally shooting an Alaska grizzly bear and attempting to cover it up. Alaska State Troopers say 25-year-old Theresa Vail, star of "Limitless with Theresa Vail," and two hunting guides are charged with misdemeanors. Troopers say Vail during filming ...
The majority of the hunting shows anymore are really bad. I don't watch the Outdoor Channel at all. These so called professional hunters along with the sponsors are a detriment to what real hunting is all about. I can't believe that they air half the crap they do. People must buy into the B.S.for the shows to continue airing.

The Western Hunter, Solo Hunter and Meateater are about the only shows I watch. I can't stand those shows that feature some yahoo sitting in a tree stand over a food plot "hunting" for an elusive buck they've been growing for years. They are on tv simply to show some clown killing something on camera because they always kill something.

I poorly was trying to say that the e-scouting from Corey on OC is now done in partnership with OnX. It’s no longer a module using GoHunt maps. Between getting that set up with OnX (my contractual reference) and trying to tie ...

I'd be curious about the # viewers these shows are getting nowadays. Public land DIY stuff is all over YouTube in a way they never were represented on Outdoor/Sportsman channel. Honestly you get tired of watching a guy kill a huge whitetail on a highly managed property. Some of these shows have 3-4 deer killed in a single episode.
