Target RED Card Credit Line Increase?? Hi, Ive had my Target RED card for about two years. I started off with a $200.00 credit limit. I want to say about eight months later, I received a $500.00 increase so a total credit limit of $700.00. Does anyone else struggle with getting credit increases from Target RED Card?
I recently made a large payment to bring the balance, but even after the payment cleared from my bank account, the Capital One consumer website says I have no available credit. I have not made any purchases since the payment was cleared. I will be calling in soon but would like to get your thoughts on this. Here is a screenshot: Good morning OP.
Re: target red card available credit. If the payment shows as processed in your Redcard account, but it's not reflected in your available balance, I'd suggest giving them a call. I had a situation a few months back where a Target Redcard payment cleared my bank, as well as processed in the Redcard account for over a week, but wasn't reflected ...

On a lighter note, you should watch out for your iPhone auto correct, you had "autopsy" instead of "autopay" and in one spot had "pissed" instead of "missed". Currently have 2 Target Cards that are 6 months behind: 1. $433.22. 2. $429.57. Both are $200 Credit Lines + the roughtly $30 in interest since none payment so that leaves $175-$200 in fees. Last year I was driving Uber and I had the Uber Debit Card and tons of bills (mostly on retail credit cards at that time). Say if I cashed out $62.02, I would go in Target and pay $22.02 on my Redcard and get $40.00 cash back. I was buying Chick Fil A and Wendy's gift cards and small simple snacks with my Red Card to get the 5% off.
Re: Target Closed Account. This isn't specific to Target. A lot of issuers will close your account after repeated returned payments, some even after one returned payment. One thing you need to be very careful of. When you make a payment, make sure the funds exist and the account numbers are correct. Message 3 of 12.
