    Netgear support refuses to help even though this seems quite apparent that they have messed up a firmware release. Their only response is to perform a factory reset. I am able to login to the router with the Netgear Nighthawk app on my phone, but I cannot login from a computer. Because of this, I can't even login to backup my config.

    Everytime I try to login via routerlogin.net it ALWAYS takes me to the reset my password page where it asks for my serial number and security question. I've done it like 10 times. I've tried everything. I've powered down my router, clearched cache and cookies, done it on private browsing, forget the network.

I am prompted for a password, and when I login it accepts the information. However, the page is just a blank white page . Ok, so I try to reset the modem with a factory reset.

    When I try to access the router via the URL I'm getting the message "This site can't be reached" www.routerlogin.net refused to connect. ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED." I did try with the IP address 192.168.1.1 and was able to access the admin site. Curious as to why the URL would not work. The app I'm using on my phone is Nighthawk app.

    After factory reset. 1. Make a backup of router configuration. When you make your 1st changes with perferred SSID and New Admin and Password. 2. Make a backup router confiruration. Once everthing is setup and working properly. 3. Make a backup rounter configuration.

    I can access my router from the nighthawk app on my phone, but its not letting me change some of my wifi settings, namely DNS ip's so I tried logging in through the web interface. At the login prompt I use the same userid and password I use on the mobile app, and continue to get a message that says access denied.

    3. Opening the Nighthawk app again. Now I am able to login to my Netgear account. After logging in it then also asked me to login to my router's admin account. The reason why it wouldn't let me login to my Netgear Account is because the server doesn't recognize or allow this new phone I am using.

    I am using a Nighthawk D7000v2 as my main router. When I change settings on the router via netgear genie (router web page), most of the time it will refuse to connect after updating. The router stills works fine and connects to the internet. I can still ping the router but I can't connect to the web page until I physically reboot the router.
